_A Celebration of Servant Leadership and Integrity_
On *Wednesday, 12th August 2026 at 3:00pm*, *St. Joseph’s Naggalama* held a solemn and dignified ceremony to inaugurate its new body of student leaders. The occasion was graced with a Holy Mass presided over by *Msgr. Rev. Dr. Richard Kayondo*, and concelebrated by *Rev. Fr. Vincent Wasswa*.
The liturgy was anchored in *Sirach 32:1-24* and the *Gospel of Luke 12:41-48* — readings that underscore humility, order, responsibility, and accountability in leadership.
In his homily, Msgr. Rev. Dr. Kayondo reminded the prefects that true leadership is a vocation of service to God and to humanity. He prayed that they would discharge their duties in accordance with God’s will, and that they would lead with *integrity, humility, and compassion*.
He urged the newly elected leaders to *remain grounded and approachable*, fostering an environment in which their peers feel valued, heard, and happy. He further challenged them to be architects of unity — to *bring people together* and to *harness their collective resourcefulness* so that every student may enjoy a harmonious and fulfilling stay at St. Joseph’s Naggalama.
Following the Mass, the prefects took a solemn oath to serve diligently, uphold the ethos and regulations of the school, and to serve as exemplary role models to the student body.
The ceremony culminated with prayers for wisdom, strength, and guidance for the new leadership. The Head Teacher called upon the entire school community to support the *Francis-Henry-Praxeda Cabinet* as they undertake their mandate.
As St. Joseph’s Naggalama welcomes this new team, we are confident that, guided by faith and commitment, they will uphold the school’s values and leave a lasting legacy of service.
May the Almighty bless and guide the Francis-Henry-Praxeda Cabinet 2026-2027 in their service to the school community.
*Well done to the John Mary-Noeline Cabinet for a job well done, and congratulations to the Francis-Henry-Praxeda Cabinet 2026-2027!* 🎉🎉🎉
