The inauguration of student leaders:  The Ben-Pauline Cabinet.
On Friday 9th August 2024, St Joseph's SSS Naggalama gathered and witnessed a momentous occasion - the inauguration of our new student leaders. The ceremony which started with Holy Mass celebrated by Msgr Rev Dr Kayondo Richard together with Rev Fr Wasswa Vincent marked the beginning of a new era of student governance, as we entrusted our young leaders with the responsibility of guiding their peers and shaping the school's future.
During his homily, He emphasized the need to seek wisdom from God during their term of office.
The event included with the induction of office bearers, including the Judiciary. Head Boy, Head Girl, and representatives from each house, and Chapel Councillors.
The outgoing leaders handed over the mantle to the new team, symbolizing the continuity of leadership and tradition.
The head teacher, Mrs. Nsubuga Agnes addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of leadership, teamwork, and responsibility. She encouraged the new leaders to be role models, to listen to their peers, and to work collaboratively towards the betterment of the school community.
The student leaders took a pledge and oath, promising to uphold the school's values, to work selflessly, and to strive for excellence. The ceremony was a solemn reminder of the trust placed in them and the expectations that come with their new roles.
The ceremony was concluded with a vote of thanks from the Joseph -Josephine cabinet 2023-2024 as the student leaders expressed their gratitude to the school administration, teachers, and peers for their support and trust.
The inauguration of student leaders marked a new beginning, filled with promise and potential. We wish our young leaders all the best as they embark on this exciting journey, leading by example, and making a difference in the lives of those around them.
